11th November was Gurudwadashi, so went to visit Shri Dattatraya Temple @ NarsobachiWadi. Before that thought to visit Audumbar, as it is near to Miraj, where I stayed at my friend’s residence.
Started on 9th November from Borivali at 9.30pm. Reached Miraj bus stand at 8 am. Went to friend’s place, freshen up, had tea and breakfast. Started to Sangli at 10.30am via a local ST bus. Reached Sangli at 11.30am. Direct bus to Audumbar was at 2pm. The person on the help counter told me to go via Bhilwadi. Bus going to Bhilwadi was at 11.45am. Reached Bhilwadi at around 12.15-30pm. There were 2 persons came from Kolhapur, so we all three hired an Auto for Rs: 40\-. From the bus stop, the temple it is just 1-2 kms.
Went to the Krishna Ghat, not much crowd was present. Took Darshan of Shri Dattatraya. Wanted to go to other side of Ghat to visit Bhuvaneshwari temple, but as there was no crowd, the boat person said we have to wait for some 10-15 persons to gather then only we can go to other side. Waited for 10-15 mins or so….but no more visitors. So cancelled the plan to visit Bhuvaneshwari Temple… ( Might be Gurudev want me to visit again 🙂 )….took an auto to Audumbar bus stand….again while returning…these 2 persons were with me….auto took Rs: 10\- per seat. Waited for few minutes for bus, but bored and then was about to enter a taxi…. a Maruti 800 (they say it as “vadap”)…….came a bus to Audumbar…..which was again going to Sangli…..so boarded the bus to sangli at 1.30pm….reached Sangli at 2.45pm.
All in all, in 2 hrs, I was able to do the Darshan to Audumbar from Sangli….not bad…as I have heard that it can take almost a day if you never get public vehicles at right time…..went to Miraj….had good rest….then went to Wadi the next day…took Darshan, performed Abhishek at Wadi.
